Joint Injections

A joint injection is a minimally invasive option for pain relief without the need for surgery. The type of injections to the patient include Corticosteroid injections, Hyaluronic acid injections, Platelet-rich plasma injections, and Stem cell injections. These injections can help reduce inflammation, lubricate the joints, stimulate and encourage the body’s natural healing process.

Commonly injected joints include the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, wrist, and small joints in the hands and feet. Hip joint injections are possible, but they sometimes require the aid of an ultrasound or X-ray.
